Helsinki, the cradle and beloved home city of CTRL was recently elected as the Design Capital of the world, universe and milky way for the year 2012! Big Up! We suck at football and won’t probably ever be the hosts of the W.C… Well, footballs need design, and the layouts, logo’s, stadiums, interiors, buses, metros, tickets, soda cups, merchandise and well.. I guess anything and everything from space , object, visual, auditive in our day to day life should carry the thought of being aesthetic, be utterly functional and practical in use.

This is a base for Finnish thinking, so the fact that we’re the design capital in 2012 is something well earned!

Big up to each and every individual and collective that made this happen! Great job! Massive congratulations from CTRL to HELSINKI!
