Gav sent me some pictures of him objectively capturing Helsinki in it’s darkest month. Some (high) lights here and there… The blurriness treats the pictures well. Finland appears a bit fuzzy due to it’s lack of light.
Good nights spent at the Glo Hotel in Helsinki. Nice design hotel that actually had someone doing the unfortunate Pulp Fiction move during Gavins stay. Don’t mix up your heroin and think it’s coke. O.D granted…

Streets of HKI!

Have to love the trams. Been riding them for free forever. Inside hint is to watch out for the Smurfs. They are the old ladies clad in blue who will bust you for riding without a ticket. It’s a 80 euro fee, so keep an eye out for them.. Even though i’m nowadays happy with occasionally paying for the ride as it is a great service…

Some images from Gavins display of works… Raving 89… Since 89!

More of the same….

The artist himself.. But who took the pic? Good work…

There’s an exhibition at the same venue that goes by the name of Young Artists… . They had some cool stuff in there. Polar bears are always cool i guess.

Suvi, the girl on the right is the one running the museum and she’s doing a heck of a job! Oskari on the left side knows a lot about a lot that you don’t know anything about…

Off to the after party.. Met a random dude… Is he the one who stole my signed Raving 89 book?

Yours truly. Courtesy of Gavin Watson…

Drinks are hard to get once the last 15 minutes hits in at the bar… While your trying to eye the bar tender down you’ll have someone keeping you busy with a dizzy conversation…

Thanks Gavin for the pictures and hope to see you in a warmer Helsinki soon.
