Hey yo, this is hitting from the other side of the world. That’s pretty much what we’re told in Finland when we were kids digging holes in the ground. Our Pops and Moms would always be saying that dig deep enough and you’ll come out in China. Quite funny, as we sure have been digging deep, three shifts per day, all night and all around up til dawn. And yes, finally we’re seeing light at the end of the tunnel. And what happens when we pop out?
The NO†CH Festival that’ll go down the 27th of October and goes on until 4th of November in Shanghai, China. It will cater a more than interesting palette of designers / creative heads / musicians / artists and connoisseurs. These include some of my favorites, Henrik Vibskov, Uusi Fantasia, Kokoro & Moi, Pekka Finland and these i’m just naming on the basis of what i know. The rest is something that’ll surely widen my eyes, no doubt about it.
The palette seems tight as a diamond and taking it to Shanghai must be thrilling to the bone marrows for each one participating.
And us, CTRL, are there in forms of an exhibition at a gallery space and tight store called The Source and will be having an exhibition together with Tuukka ‘Deeli’ Kaila. The exhibition will open on the 31st of November and goes through all of November. How many days is that?
Please stay tuned for more about this as we’re finalizing the last bits of it all.

Konichiwa!
We recently produced a limited re-edition series of t-shirts. There’s 6 different retrospect graphics from the colorful history of sweet baby Jesus, CTRL! These were only for the Japanese market, but we snatched a small piece of the pie, no offense, you know we’re like kids at the bisquit stash. These are now up and online on our WEBSTORE..
The Love Will Tear Us Apart Tee is also up there. We’ve had mad requests for this one, so it should be goodness news for all you out there that missed this pearl. Mighty approved by the talented and Handsome couple down here…

God bless all you goths!

Finally go these in. The CTRL x SABRE ‘WAYKOOL’ Collabo is finally seeing light. I mean shading it…

The black ones with nice red tips and gold Sabre and CTRL printing on the sides.

Front view tenderness…

The tortoise ones are my favorite…

The lenses are so good on these. Soft and not too dark. There’s a fading on them and they’re fit for evening use. Shade away the shady people…

Profiles…

This shit is making out or sumtin… I would. I will…

It’s all bueno. Like Mexican bueno. Lazy on the outside busy by heart…

Out later in 2009!! Stay tuned…

More great things fresh out from print are Swedish photographer and renaissance man Knotan and his super good looking zine that goes by the name ‘MASTER CHAIR’.
He has collected amazing shots both in- and outside his studio with interesting faces doing even more interesting expressions along with aristocratically pale and nude bodies.
Here’s some pics Knotan was nice to provide us with…

The zine is available through Knotans homepage. Just click the book store section.
The zine is designed by Pekka Toivonen, the nice lad who is behind a beautiful Finnish Magazine by the name of Kasino A4.
If you look closely you can see Pekka doing some fantastic modeling in there as well. Both male and female aka she-male posing. True multi-talent of today.
That’s a load of knowledge from the world of publications for one day. Yes. A lot!
Not a lot but we mix a lot aka Screw the driver!
